I’m a Studio Art alum from the University of Texas at Dallas. I take a particular interest in oil painting and photography. In general, I find restorative purpose in conceptualizing unity between mediums.
Recently, I’ve re-endeavored into street photography, exploring multiple aspects and perspectives from behind the lens. My subliminal points of interest in my work seek to encourage the viewer to look beyond their everyday perspective and to bask in nostalgia.
My recent work is comprised mostly of experimental techniques while simultaneously respecting my admiration for documenting everyday life. I’ve enjoyed researching portrait and lighting techniques, alongside photographers whose work I enjoy. Research is a key factor in my work; especially research on other artists and their studies. Most of my final photos are either candid shots or the product of multiple takes through experimentation.
